Biography
Susan Triano ClinScD, CCC-SLP, FACHE has almost 30 years of healthcare experience and currently serves as the Director of Rehabilitation Services for Memorial Regional Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. While clinically trained as a speech language pathologist, she has, from working with her multidisciplinary team, developed a passion for the importance of mobility in the acute care setting. Susan has championed this cause within her own organization and through trainings at facilities within the United States and Canada. Susan has presented at national and international conferences and published in several peer reviewed journals with a focus on mobility for patients after sternotomy. In addition, Susan provides education and training, across the country, for a pediatric outcome measurement tools and works as an adjunct faculty member at Nova Southeastern University, teaching classes within the field of speech language pathology.
